![]() ![]() ![]() We had planned to take the kids to the pool while their grandparents went to the casino and that didn’t work out at all. No complaints about the rooms however, the pool was totally cold and unenjoyable. We decided to return with our 2 year old and 5 year old and their grandparents (booked 2 rooms). We stayed here in November and enjoyed the warm indoor pool (that connects to the outside). This was my own fault - but it's still a bad customer experience. I'm not quite sure why they could not put them back - other than to increase their revenue / profits. ![]() When I found out that my comps got purged I drove down there and tried to get them put back (to no avail). They said they sent an email at the beginning of the year but either I did not see it nor didn't read it. Unfortunately the Ocean lowered their time frame for lower level cards to 3 months. Most casinos will keep your comps active if you have activity in a 6 month period. And generally I'd do a pretty good job making sure our comps stay active. To be honest, we used to go there more when they had a poker room (I mostly play poker). Over the years at the Ocean we earned a little less than $300 in comps. Now, I'll get to the main purpose of the review. I always liked the casino and hotel - nice rooms and lots of room in the casino. ![]()
